Kantometer
‘Act only on that maxim which you can at the same time will to become a universal law.’ — The Kantometer does not measure what is permitted, but how sound a rule would be if it held for everyone.
I. Formulate the maxims
Formulate each option as a rule: ‘I do X in situation Y in order to achieve Z.’
II. Examination
Three veto questions form the Kantian filter. The remaining questions produce the weighted score.
§ Adjust weights
Freeze and version the weights once they have been calibrated against anchor cases.
III. Measurement
